WELCOME HOME
MORE HOSTAGES RELEASED!
Last weekend we welcomed the release of three more Israeli hostages from Gaza.
Eli Sharabi (52), Ohad Ben Ami (56), Or Levy (34) were released on February 8th in the most horrific conditions reminiscent of the Holocaust. This is a Holocaust.
We must never give up hope.
We must insist on the release of all hostages now.
We must not become immune to the suffering of any culture.
As my mother says in the video above.... we must remind the world...
A Reunion for Adams' Angels
After touring the country for the last 15 months and over 30 festivals and special screenings such as The Sousa Mendes Foundation hosted by Dr. Olivia Mattis, my last stop on this six-city tour before our upcoming nationwide release in theatres on February 21st was in Charlotte, NC, home to the most amazing Jewish Film Festival at the JCC. They rolled out the red carpet. This one was for the ages.
Brought to the attention of the festival by Stephanie Bensinger, invited by programmer Jeff Turk, hosted by Michelle Rusgo and introduced by The Butterfly Project's Lori Semel, I am standing next to my most treasured mentor, New Trier East High School advisor and acting teacher, Suzanne Adams. A magical and mystical human being, Suzanne taught me the art of daydreaming, vision questing and how to embody a character. My conversation with Suzanne as she deftly moderated my Q&A was nothing short of creative, sensitive and deeply rewarding. A full circle moment was truly experienced.
